Awendaw Green’s marquee event, RocktoberFest, kicks off 3 p.m. Friday, October 9, and continues until 10 p.m. on Monday, October 12. The festival’s three stages will be located in the fields and forests around the Sewee Outpost.
Featuring a full selection of South Carolina’s premier bands, the proceeds from the four day festival will be used to purchase instruments for the Charleston Band Instrument Fund. Donate a quality instrument (no kazoos) and we’ll hook you up with a free weekend pass!
RocktoberFest welcomes respectful camping with the purchase of a weekend pass. Tickets are just $40 for the full weekend ($25 with a valid student ID). Day passes are $15 ($10 for students). Free admission with the donation of a new or used instrument. Kids under 12 are free. Only 1,000 tickets are available so purchase them early at Etix.com. Bring a chair!
