This is insane, giving "special visas" to illegal alien prostitutes and then, as the article states at the end,. "the girls disappeared", IE, they went back to their lives of prostitution, what they know how to do and where thee money is!! So in essence, the Feds are FACILITATING prostitution, and while they may bust a trafficker or two in the process, they let the illegal gals back on American streets!! Just insane...Plea bargains are killing us, as are stupid ideas like these by the Feds. They had enough evidence to hang this guy...they didn't need to dangle "visas" to these prostitutes!! The prostitutes should "do the right thing" because it IS the right thing to do, not with a carrot dangled before them.

Not so long ago, in the Mexican state of Oaxaca, a group of women caused a law to be passed which made it a criminal offense to kidnap, rape, and keep captive an unmarried woman. This was the first such law in that state, lasted only a few years, and was eliminated by popular demand. Kidnapping and rape are once again considered a "romantic gesture" among the mostly indigenous people, both men and women

In another Mexican state, the bodies of 300 women were found in mass graves. The remains which were still reasonably new showed signs of rape and toruture before murder. The local, state, and federal police haven't spent much time looking for evidence, as they aren't really that interested.
In 10 of Mexico's 30 states, judges often give a choice to defendants charged with a sexual crime against a single girl or woman. The charges will be dropped if the defendant offers to marry the victim. As perverse as this seems, everyone present knows that the defendent will soon be in the U.S.. The U.S. has served for decades as a place for Mexico to send their sex criminals.
Many of the other Latin countries have similar liberal attitudes toward sexual abuse of girls and women. If you lie down with dogs, you will get up with fleas.

The organized crime groups involved in this may primarily cater to members of their own nationalities, but an American citizen's money is worth just as much to these scum as a Mexican citizen's. And perverts (who come in all colors and nationalities- believe me)*- will obtain their sick sexual gratification anywhere they can.
America has a lot of homegrown sex offenders, rapists, pedophiles etc.- it's not like Latin America has a monopoly on such disgusting behavior. I'm as fed up as anyone else with the porosity of our border and the hiring of illegal immigrants in place of Americans, and I am well aware of Latin America's problems with rape and sexual abuse, but smearing everyone from the Rio Grande to Tierra del Fuego as sex addicts and child rapists is totally false and unfair.

*For instance, Roman Polanski, Elizabeth Smart's abductor, and the majority of the Catholic priests who molested children were white, not black or Hispanic.

I read the police reports for my area every week. All of the sex crimes are committed by blacks and mexican/hispanics (in fact, most of the crimes are committed by them). An earlier poster said the johns are all American citizens. Indeed they are NOT. Sex with children had for that cheap is easily had for the sex addicts of south and central America. Raping children is part of their culture--not ours. Don't go around blaming American citizens--we are not the ones doing this to these children.

Laf--you can speak for YOURSELF.

Laf,

NOT NECESSARILY. That is an unsubstantiated conclusion. Consider this, anecdotal evidence that these sex rings inherently cater (at least in part) to illegal populations:

http://www.examiner.com/x-10317-San-Diego-County-Political-Buzz-Examiner~y2009m10d5-Migrant-camps-in-San-Diego-are-busy-with-prostitution

I know of no studies, but would love to see one, that explores sexual deviancy within the illegal Latin American population. I can point to a plethora of anecdotal evidence that suggests there is a correlation. Namely, the countless articles documenting sex rings, rape and molestation of youths by Latin American illegal men. Honestly, I'd prefer to be wrong understanding that these crimes occur within any society, and am open to being convinced otherwise.

But what the anecdotal evidence seems to suggest is either 1) those who flaunt such "inconvenient" laws as immigration laws are predisposed to other forms of crime -- would have to study non-Latin American illegal populations as well -- or 2) Latin American culture does not associate the same disdain for sexual relations with youth that American culture traditionally has.

Consider this Human Rights Watch report about raped women being denied abortion. Ignore the issue of abortion itself, and focus on the treatment these women allege regarding policing of violence against women.

http://www.hrw.org/en/node/11460/section/3

Evidently, there are serious problems 'down south' not being addressed regarding the rights of women and sexual assault and/or abuse. These problems belong within the larger discussion of immigration in this country because they are inseparable from any large population flow -- the nature of the game is: a large population flow will bring with it the same problems faced by that large population in its country (countries) of origin.

Just another reason to deport illegals. This article shows illegals have no morals or values, that they could abuse these girls. Men certainly are dogs !! Shameful. This adds to Americans dislike and total disrespect for illegals and Mexicans in general. Send them back where they belong.
Oops...forgot to say great post! Looking forward to your next one.

Who exactly do you think was paying to have sex with these young girls? I'll give you a clue: they were American "men" (legally here) and they are equally culpable for the abuse.
