ROBERT’S RETIREMENT
The legend of Robert’s began 1976, as a 20 seat restaurant down on Market Street where chef and owner Robert Dickson came bursting out the kitchen doors to serenade his guests. One cookware shop, one lunch spot, and three Robert’s locations later, Robert’s has become a fixture in Charleston’s fine dining scene.
Robert will be hanging up his chef coat to embark on new adventures, hobbies, and spending time with loved ones. He leaves his knowledge, skill, and reputation in the hands of his daughter and her husband who will embark on their own adventure in early 2010.
Robert would like to thank all his past customers and friends for supporting Robert’s for over 33 years. Please join us one (or two or three) last time before Robert sings “Cheerio” in his final curtain call.
Robert’s of Charleston has heralded many accolades and awards, but our greatest achievement has been the wonderful comments from our customers. Tell us of the memories that Robert’s has helped you make.
