College of Charleston Women’s Tennis Team and Pet Helpers present the Inaugural College of Charleston Dog Show.
Charleston has a chance to show off their canine best on Friday, December 4th at the Stern Center Courtyard as the College of Charleston Women’s Tennis Team puts down their rackets and picks up their dog leashes to bring you the Inaugural College of Charleston Dog Show to benefit Pet Helpers. For just $5, enter your pooch to win a special $200 gift package from the Wag Factory and other great items for dogs and their owners.
Weather permitting, owners and their furry friends will gather at 2:00 for the event. Charleston pooches will compete to win in categories like Owner Look-Alike, Celebrity Look-Alike, Smallest Dog, Biggest Dog, Best Tricks, Best Accessories, Most Holiday Spirit, and Most CofC Spirit.
Proceeds will benefit Pet Helpers, a private, non-profit 501c 3 Adoption Center and Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic that serves communities across the Lowcountry. The mission of Pet Helpers is to end the euthanasia of alladoptable cats and dogs by keeping all animals until adopted, providing low cost spay/neuter surgeries, offering humane education programs, and initiating animal welfare legislation.
