Cell Phones while Driving in South Carolina may be Forbidden

A bill has been introduced in the South Carolina Legislature which would ban the use of cell phones while driving in the State of South Carolina. The ban would include cell phones, and all other hand held devices that could cause a distraction while driving. The proposed bill calls for a fine of up to $250 and a 2 point penalty against your driving record. Similar bills have been passed in other cities and states across the US, because of the amount of accidents caused by drivers being distracted while driving.
