So…What can I do on News.sc?

www.NEWS.sc is South Carolina’s Local News Network, and we are “By the People, For the People”.

It takes only a few moments to register, and you can do any of the following on NEWS.sc:

  • Write an Article about any topic of interest, and promote your city, your Chamber, your business, or anything else that may be of interest.
  • Report some news- This can be good stuff( Achievements, “Off-Beat” , Business, Sports, Politics, or any other interesting topics), or more serious news ( Crime-watch, Obituaries, Business).
  • Sports- In South Carolina there are a lot of Local Sports that we like to share. Whether it is football, baseball, bowling, golf, or any other college, high school, lower school, or other league or neighborhood event, let us know, and we will let everyone else know.
  • Make an Announcement- You can announce the opening of a business, weddings, anniversaries, garage sales, births, lost and found, graduations, birthdays, reunions, church or school activities, car washes, auctions, and just about anything else.
  • Entertainment- If there are things happening in your area, let everyone know. Special events, Fairs, Flea Markets, special movies, parks, museums, and anything else that folks would be interested in.
  • Classifieds- Are you looking to buy or sell something. Our Classifieds are free, and anyone that has a computer can see what you are selling.
  • Jobs- Whether you are looking for a job, or looking to hire someone, our job network is FREE of charge.
  • Pets- Do you want to show your pet off, or have something of interest to share, or even promote your business? Our Pets section is just the place.
  • Living- Here we cover interesting topics like Health, Travel, Home & Garden, Recipes, and other stuff about Parenting and Kids.

You can do this one time, or become a regular. We are always looking for folks with interesting information. We also are on Twitter, Facebook, and several other Social Networking sites, so the information you send us will be viewed by just about anybody.

REMEMBER, we do have rules, so make sure you follow them. We run a very respectable site, so keep everything clean.
